Chinese companies are actively taking part in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, East China#39;s Zhejiang Province, integrating their advanced digital technologies and intelligent applications into event services, venue designs and visitors#39; experiences, highlighting China#39;s achievements in the digital realm and innovation.
Among the 11 official partners, five are internet technology companies - China Mobile, Alibaba, Alipay, China Telecom and DAS-Security - according the official website of the 19th Asian Games.
Supported by cutting-edge technologies such as 5.5G, the Internet of Things, big data and artificial intelligence , the Hangzhou Asian Games has witnessed the emergence of several groundbreaking and innovative applications and technologies.
For instance, the Asian Games edition of Dingtalk, a digital management platform developed by Alibaba, is the world#39;s first large-scale sports event integrated platform. It can provide online collaborative event management services for hundreds of thousands of event staff and volunteers.
The Games has also become a stage for faster internet connections, including 5G-advanced or 5.5G, a transition phase between 5G and 6G. Several outdoor and indoor venues of the multi-sport event in the eastern city are covered by 5G-A, according to China Unicom. A single user can download data as quickly as 10,000 million bits per second.
During the opening ceremony, China Mobile set up 134 antennae besides other types of telecom equipment to provide internet connection to nearly 80,000 spectators and 20,000 staff members. The 5G data transmission rate at the main venue reached 4.34 Gbps, the network operator disclosed.
Many technology companies have contributed to enhancing the spectator experience. AI software company SenseTime offers a range of AI technologies and solutions to provide immersive viewing experiences for athletes and spectators at the Asian Games.
作为首次提出“智能办赛”理念的大型赛事，本届杭州亚运会开幕式可谓黑科技满满，舞台地屏配合立体透视网幕、裸眼3D、AR+AI等高科技齐齐亮相，刷新亚运视觉历史。
不仅台前如此，在亚运幕后、场馆内外、远程转播中也有不少的黑科技加持，这同时也是互联网大厂们展开“较量”的地方。
据了解，阿里巴巴在云服务、信息技术、金融科技、电子商务、绿色公益、电子订餐等多个领域与杭州亚组委开展合作，中国移动和中国电信则在通信服务领域开展合作。
比如，阿里巴巴和亚组委联合打造的智能办赛平台“亚运钉”，可供亚组委成员进行线上会议、行政审批、智能排班、志愿者培训、测试赛演练等一系列协同工作。
发送量超过20万条，单日线上会议近500场，足见其支撑力。
此外，与过往部分大型赛事相比，本届亚运会赞助商的互联网科技企业含量也更高。而在16家官方独家供应商中，互联网企业也占了两席，分别为商汤科技、快手。其中商汤科技会为亚运会提供智能视觉服务，通过AI+AR技术，为观赛用户带来多场景虚实融合的体验。
5.5G等“黑科技”保障通讯也是本届亚运会一大亮点。据运营商方面粗略统计，本届亚运会开幕式将会有近8万名现场观众和2万名工作人员一同汇集在杭州奥体中心体育场。
针对如此大规模的通信需求，运营商已将5G、5.5G等“黑科技”用于亚运会开幕式的通信支持。对于开幕式期间的通信保障，中国移动引入了超窄波束天线技术，在馆内部署了134个天线点位，对场内168个座位区块实现了近似1:1的覆盖。同时，对于每个座位区块，中国移动都安排了多个频段共同吸收话务量，其中4G网络对每个座位块有4层频段，5G网络对每个座位区块有2层频段。此外，运营商还利用3TRP、3D-MIMO等技术实现精准分区、多频分层，以此来满足开幕式场馆满负荷运行需求。

The sixth China-Arab States Expo held in Yinchuan, Ningxia Province concluded on Sunday, with planned trade and investment cooperation totaling 170.97 billion yuan, according to the expo organizer. The four-day biennial event has seen expanded cooperation in conventional areas such as investment, trade, energy and agriculture, and fostered new growth drivers in such emerging sectors as the digital economy and health care, resulting in a total of 403 cooperation outcomes.
第六届中阿博览会合作成果共403个:9月24日，为期4天的第六届中国-阿拉伯国家博览会在宁夏回族自治区银川市闭幕。博览会期间，中阿经贸合作取得丰富成果，其中，投资、商贸、能源、农业等传统领域合作数量较往届大幅提升，绿色低碳、数字经济、医疗健康等新领域合作继续拓展，共形成合作成果403个，计划投资和贸易总额达1709.7亿元。

Hong Kong’s securities regulator said it would publish a list of companies that had applied for licenses to offer cryptocurrency trading services to retailers, walking back on its reluctance to do so in the face of public backlash over JPEX’s debacle. The Securities and Futures Commission will publish the list due to public demand, said the regulator’s chief executive officer Julia Leung Fung-yee, at a press conference today. Being an applicant does not mean the companies are fully compliant with the SFC’s regulations, she added.

Companies from France and the UK are in discussions about establishing a presence in Hong Kong, Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po said yesterday during his European trip. Chan said several firms were discussing with the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises to set up operations in Hong Kong and use the city as a base for expanding into the Greater Bay Area, Chinese mainland, and even the Asian market. UK pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca, for example, indicated that it plans to develop a research and development center in Hong Kong following in-depth talks with the office, Chan revealed earlier on Saturday.

RichardYu Chengdong, chief executive ofHuaweiTechnologies’s consumer business group, said at Huawei’s annual Autumn launch event today that the HarmonyOS 4, Huawei#39;s new operating system, has been installed and upgraded on 60 million devices, with daily increase of users hitting 1.2 million. Yu said that the newly released flagship handset Mate 60 series have been well-received and Huawei is stepping up production to meet market demand. Yu went on to announce the launch of a new tablet product called the MatePad Pro 13.2, and also announced the roll-out of a new ultra, high-end brand called #39;Ultimate Design#39;, whose products include a Mate 60 RS smartphone and a smartwatch. Meanwhile, Huawei announced that its new EV sedan co-produced with Chery - Luxeed S7 - will debut in November, while the flagship SUV Aito M9 that Huawei builds with Seres is scheduled to come out this December.

Foxconn Technology Group, the contract producer for Huawei and Apple, is hiring more staff and hiking wages to make Huawei#39;s new Mate series, media reported on Sunday citing various sources. A recruiter said that at Songshanhu, Huawei#39;s research and development base in Dongguan, the company is recruiting 2,000 to 3,000 people, mainly to make Huawei#39;s mobile phones. Including benefits, these jobs can pay 9,000 per month.

South Korea#39;s LG Chem has entered into a partnership with China#39;s Huayou Group subsidiary Youshan to build a joint electric vehicle battery material plant in Morocco to diversify its portfolio. The plant, set to start production in 2026, aims to produce 50,000 tons of lithium-phosphate-iron or LFP cathode materials annually. That is enough for 500,000 entry-class EVs, the South Korean firm said.

China#39;s two major mainland bourses, the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, will finish the first three quarters of this year attracting the largest initial public offerings in the world despite reduced listing proceeds, according to Deloitte. From January to September, the SSE will be No. 1 in the world with 89 IPOs that raised 179.2 billion yuan, the multinational accounting firm wrote in a recent report. The SZSE will be No. 2 with 115 IPOs that garnered 133.3 billion yuan.

China Reform, a Chinese manager of state assets, plans to raise at least 100 billion yuan for a fund that will invest in emerging industries, media reported yesterday. The fund has already received investment intentions from more than 20 central government-owned enterprises as well as local governments and private investors, and will start operating by the end of this year.
国资委筹设战略性新兴产业发展基金:据媒体9月24日报道，推进新一轮国企改革深化提升行动新政策新举措正在陆续落地。中国国有资产管理公司中国改革计划筹集至少1000亿元的基金，将投资于新兴产业。该基金已经收到了20多家中央政府独资企业、地方政府和私人投资者的投资意向，并将于今年年底开始运营。
股市收盘情况
Chinese stocks closed lower on Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite down 0.5 percent and the Shenzhen Component dipping 0.6 percent. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index fell 1.8 percent, and the TECH index lost 2.7 percent.
A股港股收跌:周一大盘全天震荡调整，三大指数均小幅收跌。截至收盘，沪指跌0.54%，深成指跌0.57%，创业板指跌0.40%。沪深两市全天成交额7129亿元，较上个交易日缩量525亿。北向资金全天净卖出80.39亿元。港股恒生指数收跌1.82%，恒生科技指数收跌2.72%。

China bagged 32 golds, 13 silvers and 5 bronzes at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou as of 5pm Monday, standing at the top of the medal table. Today, Zhang Liang claimed victory in men#39;s single sculls, while the Chinese team added 4 golds in women#39;s coxless pair, both women’s and men’s quadruple sculls, and women#39;s eight with coxswain. Sheng Lihao won gold in men#39;s 10m air rifle, and Team China won men#39;s 25m rapid-fire pistol team. Chen Ye won the gold medal in men’s park skateboarding. Li Hongfeng and Mi Jiujiang each clinched gold in women#39;s and men’s mountain bike race, while Gao Haonan won men#39;s Tai Chi sword.
